The 2000 World Congress on Information Technology was held at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC). Situated in downtown Taipei, the TICC offers the most advanced conference facilities in Asia, with a capacity for over 3,000 delegates. COMPUTEX 2000, held immediately prior to WCIT2000, took place at the adjoining Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC). The TWTC is a world-class exhibition center with over 163,000 square meters of exhibition space.
